Note to the Community
Dear Potter Jr. High Community,
As I begin my third year as principal of this incredible school, I am filled with gratitude and excitement for the journey ahead. Potter Jr. High is a special place—one where students are supported, staff are committed, and families play an essential role in our shared success. Together, we have created a strong foundation, and I look forward to continuing to build upon it.
This year, we have implemented significant changes to our master schedule with the goal of better meeting the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students. These changes reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and our belief that every student deserves access to opportunities that help them grow, learn, and succeed.
At the heart of everything we do is a simple but powerful goal: to see every student thrive. We want our students to feel safe, connected, and challenged. We want them to discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and develop the confidence to pursue their dreams.
Family and community engagement remain a top priority for us. This year, we are deepening our commitment to parent voice and partnership. Whether it’s through family nights, parent workshops, school events, or volunteer opportunities, we will continue to create space for you to be involved and make your voice heard. When schools and families work together, students benefit.
Thank you for your trust, support, and collaboration. Let’s make this school year one of growth, unity, and achievement—for every student, every day.
With gratitude,
