Potter Junior High proudly hosted its Semester 1 Awards Night, an evening dedicated to celebrating the hard work, growth, and achievements of its outstanding students. Families, staff, and students gathered to recognize academic excellence, leadership, and perseverance demonstrated throughout the first semester of the school year.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of the Students of the Semester, with each team selecting two students who best exemplified the core values of Potter Junior High’s Portrait of an 8th Grader. These students were honored for demonstrating qualities such as being Caring, Innovative, Resilient, Confident, Scholarly, and Leaders. Their dedication to learning and positive impact on campus set a powerful example for their peers and reflect the very best of the Potter Junior High community.
The celebration continued with the recognition of exceptional academic accomplishments across the school. Potter Junior High proudly honored more than 40 multilingual learners who achieved English proficiency, marking an important milestone in their academic journeys. In addition, over 240 students were recognized for earning a 3.6 GPA or higher, showcasing their commitment to excellence, perseverance, and consistent effort in the classroom.
Awards Night served as a meaningful reminder of what can be achieved through determination, support, and a shared commitment to learning. Congratulations to all of the students who were recognized—Potter Junior High is incredibly proud of your achievements and looks forward to seeing you continue to grow and succeed.
Potter Junior High celebró con orgullo su Noche de Reconocimientos del Primer Semestre, un evento especial dedicado a destacar el esfuerzo, el crecimiento y los logros académicos de sus estudiantes.
