Last Thursday, the quad at Potter Jr. High was overflowing with pride, excitement, and community spirit as families, friends, and staff gathered to celebrate the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony. The turnout was incredible, with loved ones filling the area, waving balloons, cheering with joy, and offering heartfelt support for the Class of 2025 — our future high schoolers.
The event began with a captivating student performance that set an uplifting tone for the celebration. This was followed by a series of moving speeches from student leaders who reflected on their middle school journey and shared their hopes for the future.
Principal Dr. Gonzales delivered an inspiring message to the students, reminding them of their growth and resilience. FUESD Superintendent Monika Hazel also took the stage, offering her congratulations and encouraging words as students prepare for their next academic chapter.
